Our heavy weight, oversize Oval Serving Tray is created for entertaining and everyday family dinner entrées. Large enough for a Thanksgiving turkey or salt baked snapper, we also love using this tray for desserts, grazing tables and serving Friday couscous dinners. Cloud glaze is a matte white that is hand applied over our custom mix of red and black clays, a slight transparency creates a greyish white look that changes with the natural light, just like a cloud moving past of the sun.. Our ceramics are entirely handmade in a small atelier/factory located about 30 minutes outside of Marrakech. Each piece is crafted using a unique blend of black and white clays sourced from Spain, chosen for their strength, texture, and natural beauty. The Ovals Collection is available in three glazes, the matte white Cloud glaze mixes beautifully with the the transparent Earth glaze, which essentially just seals and enhances the color of the clay itself, and Milk, a bright, glossy white that dresses up easily while it's handmade qualities and slight variegation create an elegant and unfussy look perfect for everyday use. Subtle asymmetry and color variations highlight each pieces handmade origins. Because every item is shaped and finished by hand, no two pieces are exactly alike. Subtle variations in form, glaze, and finish are not imperfections — they are the signature of true artisan work and a reminder that each piece is one of a kind. The atelier is led by a Maâlem (master craftsman), who is also a ceramic teacher, passing down traditional skills while continuously refining his craft. Every piece reflects generations of knowledge, patience, and respect for handmade production.
