Our Traditional African Black Soap is handmade in Ghana using a natural, traditional recipe. Free from artificial ingredients, chemicals, preservatives, color enhancers, and fragrances, this soap embodies the essence of indigenous Ghanaian craftsmanship. Rich in minerals, antioxidants, and vitamins, it offers a moisturizing, all-purpose cleanse for your skin, body, and hair. Ideal for sensitive, oily, dry, and problem-prone skin, it also serves as an effective makeup remover due to its deep cleaning properties.

Who Should Use It:
Suitable for all skin types, though those with dry or sensitive skin should use it cautiously.

Usage:
Can be used daily but should be incorporated slowly into your routine. Works well with sunscreen and moisturizers containing humectants, emollients, and occlusives.

Storage:
The normal shelf life is 24 months. To prolong its shelf life, store the soap in a cool, dry area. After use, keep it in an airtight container or zip-lock bag in a cooler, drier section of your home.

How to Use:
Patch Test: Perform a patch test 48 hours before use. Discontinue if irritation occurs.
Lather: Rub a small piece of soap between your hands or on a sponge/loofah with water. The soap lathers well, so a little goes a long way.
Application: Apply the lather to your face, body, or hair. Avoid direct application of the soap to the skin to prevent irritation from small particles of plantains.
Moisturize: Follow up with a good moisturizer, such as Raw African Shea Butter, especially if the soap feels drying.
