Our Batik Hmong Oasis Notebook is not only a beautiful piece but also a cultural experience that will transport you to Northern Thailand. Each notebook has lines inside and carefully handcrafted by talented Hmong hill tribe women using traditional wax stamping techniques and dipped in indigo and other dyes to create intricate and stunning designs.
Featuring a brightly colored pompom silk book divider that varies in color, this notebook is as unique as it is functional. The art of batik, once reserved for royalty and families of wealth and position, has a rich history in Java and is now a treasured tradition in Northern Thailand.
