What is a Peşkir? A peşkir (pronounced pesh-keer) is a smaller version of the well-known Turkish bath towel (pestemal). Handwoven from 100% natural cotton, peşkir towels are soft, absorbent, and beautifully finished with signature hand-tied fringes. Dimensions: Approximately 18" x 38" (45 x 95 cm); slight variations may occur due to hand-weaving. Material: 100% organic cotton with natural tassels. Naturally fast-drying to prevent mildew and odors. Design: Reversible usage with a lightweight and compact structure, making it ideal for travel. Versatility: Perfect for use as a hand towel, kitchen towel, hair towel, or guest towel. It can also be used as a swaddle for babies. Care Instructions: Machine or hand wash gently; avoid bleach and fabric softeners. The towel becomes softer and more absorbent with each wash.
