The Merkur Futur double edge machine has six different blade settings. The Futur shaver comfortably shaves hard, soft beards, normal or sensitive skin.
The adjustment mechanism is precise and unique to the Futur, as well as being patented. Blade tension is perfectly set by the blade when it is inserted into the blade head. The opening system of the machine allows easy cleaning and changing of sheets. The Merkur Futur is the number one seller and is known for its easy cleaning and comfortable shaves.
The ease of adjustment is a good thing to have when using a double edge razor for the first time, as the various settings provide optimal habit for double edge shaves.
The weight and design of this machine is adequate and the shape of the handle fits perfectly with the fingers, to obtain a good feeling and balance.
It is recommended to clean it with a nail brush and every three months place it in a solution of vinegar and warm water for one hour (do not exceed that time).
