Large 39" Hand Dyed Batik Bandana, Soft Lightweight Cotton, Vines in Navy Blue

The intricate pattern on our hand-dyed Batik Bandana is crafted by skilled artisans in Indonesia using a 700-year-old batik technique. This bandana is made from white cotton fabric that is then hand-stamped and hand-dyed using 700 years old batik wax and dye technique. The batik fabric is also then sun baked. You should expect some variation of the color. This pattern is called Kembang Rambat, which translates to Vines. Size: approximately 39”x39”. Due to the pre-washing process and the use of hot wax and copper stamps in its creation, our bandana may have slight variations in shape, resulting in a non-perfect square. This minor shrinkage is a natural part of the traditional batik process, adding to the uniqueness of each piece. Made with 100% cotton fabric Material: soft lightweight cotton fabric, that is more typical of bandana. This is a different type of material than our original collection of thicker fabric, while still made of 100% cotton. Machine washable in cold and air dry. Wash batik separate from other garments.
