Our Kantha Hobo Bags are handmade by women artisans in India using 100% cotton up-cycled saris. These sturdy bags have a zipper closure and handmade tassels and feature exquisite hand stitching known as "kantha" that is done by women artisans in West Bengal, India. We offer a beautiful collection of kantha scarves and accessories, and each piece is unique and truly a work of art. Comes in assorted prints and colors. Dimensions 13" x 23"

Sevya is dedicated to preserving the indigenous art forms and cultures of India by supporting the artisan communities who uphold these traditions while injecting creative contemporary details. All of Sevya's products are fair trade and use centuries-old craft traditions, with the finest natural fibers and materials. Sevya works with artisan cooperatives throughout India to develop styles and designs that showcase their traditional and eco-friendly methods of handcraft--including hand-loom, block-printing, tie-dye, and embroidery.
