The Telba shawls are made from luxurious imported Belgian linen thread, handwoven on traditional Ethiopian looms to create a beautifully light, eco-friendly piece. Richly colored and finished with delicate eyelash fringes, these shawls showcase the timeless elegance of linen. The word "Telba," meaning flax or linen in Amharic, pays homage to the material's significance, as Ethiopia is yet to cultivate flax for linen fiber production despite being a leading exporter of linseed. Designed and produced in Ethiopia, these handwoven shawls embody both craftsmanship and sustainable beauty.
